An MCP (Model Context Protocol) memory server gives AI tools persistent memory. Palim is a cloud-based MCP server that stores chat history, decisions, and knowledge, making them available across all MCP-compatible AI clients.

Yes, Palim is free to use and includes chat storage, full-text search, the distilled knowledge profile (Brain), and server-side AES-256-GCM encryption at rest — no credit card required.

How secure is my data with Palim?

Supported content fields are encrypted server-side at rest with AES-256-GCM. A separate key is derived for each user via scrypt from a Palim-managed master key. Infrastructure is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). Your data is never used for AI training.
