Palim is a service by Jan Ole Schmidt, Kellersweg 7, 35764 Sinn, Germany ("Provider"). By using Palim, you agree to these terms.
Palim is an MCP server (Model Context Protocol) that enables persistent storage and cross-tool retrieval of conversations and context from various AI tools. The service is in beta and provided free of charge.
As a beta service, the following applies:
All content you store (conversations, notes, summaries) remains your property. The Provider claims no rights to your content. You can export or delete your data at any time.
When storing data in Palim, you act as the data controller within the meaning of the GDPR. You are responsible for ensuring you only store data you are authorized to process. For personal data of third parties (e.g., customers or colleagues mentioned in your chats), you must have a sufficient legal basis (e.g., consent, contract performance, or legitimate interest). Palim stores solely on your instruction and acts as a processor.
You agree not to use Palim for:
The Provider is not liable for data loss, lost profits, or other damages arising from the use or unavailability of the beta service. Use is at your own risk.
The Provider reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
German law applies. Jurisdiction is, to the extent permitted by law, Hesse, Germany.
